Okay, der Gag ist lahm (und nebenher auch noch geklaut), aber man nimmt, was man kriegt. ;)
Ein bißchen etwas ist geschafft:

Neue schnuffelige Kreditkartentäschchen und ...

...schicke Halswärmer aus Wolle und Kaschmir.
Ehrlich: SCHADE, daß es keine "Fummelfunktion" am PC gibt, denn das Stöffchen ist wirklich traumhaft weich und kuschelig. schwärm
Genau richtig, wenn's jetzt mal tatsächlich ernst wird mit dem kalten Wetter!

Außerdem gibt es ein Schnitt-Sparpack mit der ALMA-Tasche und der Stricknadelrolle, damit die Weihnachtsgeschenke auch rechtzeitig fertig werden ;)

Last but not least: Wie sollte es anders sein, alles zu haben im SHOP. I've been busy and really managed to get a few things done:

New colorful credit card cosies and...

...some lovely patchwork mini scarves made from a gorgeous wool & cashmere fabric.
Too bad there's no way to touch these via the internet, the fabric is SOOOO very soft and cosy, I could cuddle it all day long!

Plus I've made a savings package containing the ALMA bag pattern and the knitting needle roll pattern, so all your christmas presents can be finished in time ;)

Last but not least: All these goodies are available at the SHOP.

Nachdem es ja wie angekündigt sehr langsam vorwärts gehen wird und ein oder zwei Sachen noch nicht spruchreif sind bzw. länger noch nicht sein werden, fange ich einfach mal mit den Pinguinen an...

• Danke für die ganzen netten Kommentare und auch Mails, die ich bekommen habe - es hat mich sehr gefreut zu sehen, daß ganz viele Leute diesen Blog noch nicht ganz aufgegeben haben!


• Mehrfach Zeit mit wichtigen Menschen verbracht, unter anderem beim Drachensteigenlassen.

Da war´s zwar sch***kalt und neblig, aber trotzdem schön.
Vor allem natürlich die heiße Schokolade hinterher.


• Obwohl Pinguine eigentlich eher in südlichen Gefilden leben, kamen zu mir welche aus dem hohen Norden. Entsprechend der Jahreszeit und dem kommenden "großen Fest" in Form von HEXENHEULERN.
  Danke für die Leckerbissen, Louise!


• Glück gehabt und zwei neue Meisen ergattert. Rot. Mal schauen, was draus wird. Stricken geht ja augenblicklich nicht (obwohl ich sündige), aber ich freue mich einfach schonmal über das Rohmaterial!


• Saubere Fenster im Wohnzimmer.
  Für viele nichts Besonderes, für mich eine Riesenaufgabe, denn sie sind groß, hoch und zahlreich. Zwei Tage Putzaktion liegen hinter mir und nun genieße ich meine kurzfristig sauberen Fenster, um ein bißchen dem Herbst draußen zuzusehen.
  Alles ist plötzlich weniger neblig... ;)

Falls es noch nicht klar ist: Ich persönlich mag den Herbst ja sehr gerne...

Für den Neuanfang doch gar keine SO schlechte Ausbeute.
Und?

• Thank you for all the nice comments and mails I got - I really enjoyed seeing that so many people didn't give up this blog completely!


• Quality time, spent with important persons. Not only kite flying.

It was damn cold and foggy, but nice.
We especially enjoyed the hot chocolate afterwards.


• Though penguins are known to live down south, I got some from the very north: Some HEXENHEULER (a salty liquorice) arrived at my doorstep.
  Thanks for the goodies, Louise!


• I was lucky to catch an update at the Wollmeise and got two new skeins of RED.
  Though I'm not able to knit right now, I enjoy having and planning what to do with them!


• Clean living room windows.
  For many people this might not be special, but for me it's a huge thing to clean them. They're wide, high and numerous.
  After two days of window cleaning I now enjoy looking outside at the autumn leaves.
  Turned out the weather is actually less foggy than I thought... ;)

I don't know if I've said it before, but I love autumn...

For a new start I think the penguins aren't that bad.

Spinnweben & Staub.

Der Blog hat Spinnweben angesetzt...

Ist es tatsächlich schon ein halbes Jahr her?
Die Zeit verfliegt im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes.
Zeit, ein bißchen aufzuräumen. Abzustauben und die Spinnweben zu beseitigen.

Ein bißchen habe ich damit schon angefangen, bei manchen Sachen bin ich mir nicht ganz sicher. Sogar über einen kompletten Neustart des Blogs habe ich nachgedacht, aber irgendwie gehören sowohl die alten Einträge als auch die grottigen Bilder wohl einfach zur Geschichte des Blogs und natürlich zu mir dazu, da ist es gar nicht so leicht, einen Schnitt zu machen: Wo das Neue anfangen, wo das Alte aufhören?

In der nächsten Zeit werde ich versuchen, anzuknüpfen.
Ich danke denjenigen für ihre Geduld, die mir die Treue gehalten haben und muß diese noch ein bißchen weiterstrapazieren - es wird langsamer weitergehen als vielleicht gewünscht oder gewohnt.

In diesem Jahr wollte ich Pinguine sammeln. Gefunden habe ich leider auch Eisbären, die die Pinguine zerfleischten (ich bin mir der räumlichen Trennung von Pinguinen und Eisbären bewußt, aber ein anderer Vergleich fällt mir gerade nicht ein...). Trotzdem - oder vielleicht gerade deshalb - wird es auch in dem Bereich weitergehen.
In dem Zusammenhang möchte ich mich auch bei den wenigen Mitwissenden bedanken, die an mich und meine Familie gedacht haben. Die in beiden Fällen (ein Unglück kommt ja bekanntlich nicht alleine) Unterstützung oder Verständnis signalisiert haben. Nicht immer war es möglich, angemessen darauf zu reagieren, aber "angekommen" ist alles.

Jedenfalls wird der Blog nun abgestaubt, entrümpelt, erneuert (doch ein neuer???), was auch immer. Ich denke, daß es soweit ist. Es geht weiter - so oder so! :)The blog is cobwebbed...

Is it half a year already since that last posting?
Time flies. Literally.
Time to clean up, to wipe off the dust and to get rid of the cobwebs.

I've already started, but I'm not completely sure about some things. I've even thought about starting completely new. A new blog, all shiny and clean. But I am aware that those old postings and all those old and ugly pictures are a part of the story of this blog, and even of my own history.
It's hard to make a cut: Where to begin the new, where to cut off the old?

In the near future I'll try to tie in with what I left here. Thanks to those who were patient and kept faith with this blog. I might have to ask for even more patience - things will go slowlier than wished for.

This year I wanted to "collect penguins". Along with them I found some icebears who tore the penguins apart (I am aware of the physical separation of icebears and penguins, but I didn't find a better comparison right now...). In spite of this - or maybe because of this - I will pick up collecting the penguins.
In this regard I also want to thank those few people out there who were thinking of me and my family. Those, who sent support or sympathy our way in both cases (it's a known fact that if life kicks your back it'll also hit you in the face right afterwards...). I couldn't always get back to you in an appropriate way, but be assured that everything was happily "received".

Anyways, the blog will be cleared out, cleaned up and renewed (or do I need a new one???), whatsoever. I think it's time. Life's going on - if you're ready or not! :)
