Netterweise erlasse ich Euch langweilige Rückblicke auf mein Jahr und ebenso die völlig überflüssigen "guten Vorsätze" für's nächste Jahr und verabschiede mich (für 2009) mit einem letzten Bild, aufgenommen beim Nebelspaziergang.

Beschließt das alte Jahr sicher und so, wie's Euch gefällt, und geht das neue Jahr ruhig und zuversichtlich an.

Wir sehen uns dann 2010!Generously I will NOT bore you with looking back on the old year and also I won't bother about making resolutions for the next (which I won't keep anyways).
Instead I'll leave you with the last picture for this year, taken on a late-afternoon walk.

Passiert alle Jahre wieder.

Immer eine.
Immerhin diesmal keine von den "Guten".
Und weil hier mal die Frage aufkam: Die Adventszeit ist bei uns sehr traditionell. GRÜN und ROT, gerne mit WEIß.

Daß die Adventskranzdeko schon mehr als 10 Jahre auf dem Buckel hat, ist da egal.
Okay, die Teelichter. DIE sind neu. Allerdings auch nur, weil letztes Jahr ein kleines Malheur mit den "richtigen" Kerzen passierte... die tropften nämlich ganz heimlich vor sich hin und haben mir den Parkettboden "verziert". Deshalb also Teelichter.
Nicht GANZ so "A", aber das muß man pragmatisch sehen.

Einen schönen dritten Advent! It happens every year.

One. It's always just ONE.
At least this time it's not one of the "Good ones".
And because there has been a request lately: Advent is very traditional over here. GREEN and RED, most likely with WHITE.

And I don't mind the decorations four our "Adventskranz" (someone translate that, please?) being older than 10 years.
Well, the tealight candles are new. But only because last year the "real" candles dripped onto my wooden floor without anyone noticing... it was no fun to get that fixed!
So from now on there will be those small candles.
It's not traditional, but in this case you'll have to be pragmatic.

Braungrüngrau

Gestern habe ich wieder ein paar England-Fotos gesichtet und mich gefreut - wie jedesmal, wenn ich die anschaue.
So schön grün!
Nachdem hier handbedingt alles "on hold" ist, ein paar Bildchen für Euch.

Wen's interessiert: Der Urwald mit dem Labyrinth ist Glendurgan Garden, und wir waren dort an dem einzigen Tag unseres Urlaubs, an dem es wirklich wie aus Eimern geschüttet hat.
Wobei ich sagen muß, daß das dem ganzen noch eine nette Regenwaldatmosphäre verpaßt hat.

So schön ich die grünen Fotos fand, so unschön finde ich das braungrüngrau draußen. Bäh.
Das soll WINTER sein?
Ich will SCHNEE.

Massen davon.
Und zwar SOFORT!As everything is pretty much on hold right now I sorted through our England pictures yesterday to have something to show to you. I enjoy looking at the pics. So very green!

FYI: The jungle with the maze is Glendurgan Garden. We went there on the only day of our vacation it came down in sheets.
Though I have to admit that the rain added some nice rainforrest-atmosphere... plus there weren't many people around.

As much as I enjoyed my green Photos as much do I dislike the browngreengreyish muddy whateveryoumaycallit outside my window.
This is what they call WINTER?
I want SNOW.

LOTS of it.
IMMEDIATELY!
