Make my day!

You Make My Day!I recently got this lovely "you make my day"-award from the talented knitter/spinner/knitwear designer Mel, whose blog I read and enjoy for a few months now - it was one of the times when you follow a link and your rss-feedlist is surely growing *gg*

To be honest, it took me some hours to get over the "multi-crafting superstar", but after a while it definitely tastes like honey to read such a compliment and to be named in a row with other great blogs ^-^

Like with the Rockin' Girl Blogger Award this is meant to be forwarded, I think I've read about ten nominees.
Ten? Phew!
Too much!
Or not enough...

I enjoy reading so many blogs, I can't only tell about 10. Which ones to choose?
  • The ones from friends who make my day just by taking a picture of their breakfast or by telling about their everyday craze?
  • The blogs from inspiring people, who just seem to get around everything in a wink while having a job, a clean house, a wonderful garden, a perfect family life and who manage to finish tutorials for us all, sew/knit/craft for themselves, their friends and a shop?
  • Shall I choose blogs from people who are intelligent and tart, witty, crazy and funny at the same time?
  • Is it about the blogs I read and enjoy because they "only" collect inspiration from all over the internet?
  • Maybe the photoblogs I look at - being envious all the time because of the beauty of the place or the artistry of the setting?
  • Or do you want me to simply name the countless blogs I've rss-ed... everyone for one of the above reasons?
You see - it's so hard, but I'll try and name only a few of them (and not ten...), knowing that I have to omit others I enjoy just as much.

Anea of NO SUPERMOM - One of the few I had the honor to meet in person. Seamstress. Knitter. One of those who are witty, funny and who give me a smile with her unique way to write about the everyday craze.
Anina of TWIDDLETAILS - I found this blog amongst Kathy's nominees for the RGB-Award and am a frequent reader ever since (though I am a lame & lazy commenter - Sorry!). I enjoy the WIPs, the FOs of all kinds and most of all the wonderful pictures she takes (Remember? The "envious about the setting"-factor!).
Barbara of PIXIEBITS - Oh, I don't even remember how and when I came across her blog, but I enjoy her "silent" and calm, smooth way of blogging, her way of presenting her work and her pictures. Always worth a visit!
Daniel of GROSSTADTKIND - Though I don't know the writer of this blog personally and it's no regular read, I love to take a sneak peak now and then. He writes very trenchantly about the sense (or nonsense) of his everyday life, the city, people and the time we live in "as such".
Nicole of CRAFTAPALOOZA - What to say about it? The name says it all... Pure inspiration!
Jenny of ALLSORTS - I've been a silent reader to her blog for quite a long time now, admiring the style and the nonchalance of her postings as well as her projects. Could this be called "delurking" if I do this in my own blog?

That's it. It took me days to think about a list. I decided to add only a few of those blogs that I never mentioned before though they are on my blogroll or in my rss-feed. There are about 1.000 lovely friends and inspiring persons with wonderful blogs I omitted here, but be assured that everyone of you makes my day in his or her very own way!

xo,
K. ♥

:) You ARE a multi-crafting superstar!! I know, it is so hard to choose isn't it? Yours was a natural choice though. And "knitwear designer?" oh you flatter me! :)
